The DRDL project-Completed💯

 

We successfully completed the DRDL project!!, providing a high ramp rate and customized thermal cyclic test chamber weighing around 300 kg, designed for BrahMos missile structure thermal testing. The machine was delivered in 2020, and the customer is still conducting major tests in this chamber.

 We utilized a compounded PLC and heaters, with electrical spares sourced from Watlow USA and cryogenic solenoid valves from Jefferson. The chamber is capable of testing from -150°C to 180°C, although the customer specifically requires testing from -70°C to 120°C. The chamber conducts tests in 15 cycles from 80°C to -55°C on the test specimen surface rather than air temperature.

 Notably, the chamber's temperature control system employs a minimum of three sensors, with one serving as a backup in case of sensor failure. Additionally, 32 thermocouples are mounted on the test specimen surface to ensure temperature uniformity, a requirement we have successfully fulfilled.
